Jetstar Boost WLG-AKL Competition
Jetstar has announced a permanent addition to its flying schedule between Wellington and Auckland, making Jetstar’s trademark low fares available 24 times per week starting from 31 October 2010.
The airline has been trialling an additional daily service between Wellington and Auckland on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays offering more choice at peak travel times.
The services have been snapped up by travellers, showing the strong market demand for well priced flights and additional choice in flight timings.
“It’s great news that Jetstar is continuing to expand the services available to Wellingtonians and visitors to the capital,” said Steven Fitzgerald, CEO of Wellington Airport.
“The Jetstar model is clearly popular in New Zealand with Kiwi travellers embracing the low fare travel revolution,” said Mr Fitzgerald.
