TechnologyOne Appoints Andrew Stephenson in NZ

TechnologyOne Appoints Andrew Stephenson as New Zealand Regional Manager

27 August, 2010 — TechnologyOne, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions, today announced the appointment of Andrew Stephenson as Regional Manager - North, based in Auckland. Stephenson will be responsible for company operations and business development across the region.

His role will complement that of Glenn McStay, who will remain Regional Manager - South, continuing to look after Central Government and some South Island customers.

Stephenson was most recently northern region sales manager for The Simpl Group, where he was responsible for developing new business, qualifying strategic opportunities and key account management, with particular emphasis on the healthcare sector.

Prior to Simpl, Stephenson was a principal consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New Zealand, Australia and Europe, with a background in management consulting, finance and enterprise systems.

Stephenson said that it was TechnologyOne’s integrated vertical solutions, virtually unmatched globally, that attracted him to joining the company.

“TechnologyOne is a global player in the software industry and sees the New Zealand region as a key growth area,” said Mr Stephenson.

“I am excited to be charged with the responsibility of driving business development through sector solutions that really know the customer’s business. I am particularly pleased to join a company that works closely with its customers and invests in the development of new solutions.”

Adrian Di Marco, Executive Chairman of TechnologyOne, said that Stephenson’s appointment represents the company’s ongoing commitment to servicing its customers with local support.

“The calibre of our New Zealand clients necessitates someone with Andrew’s skills and abilities to manage this important territory for us,” said Mr Di Marco.

“The development of two distinct regions will ensure we can enhance the service we provide to our customers and drive our continued growth in the region. We welcome Andrew to the TechnologyOne fold and look forward to his contributions in the years ahead.”

New Zealand has continued to be a growth market for TechnologyOne, where it has had an office for more than ten years. The company has won all major New Zealand government deals for Financial Management solutions since 2005 – including Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry, Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry for the Environment. It has also won all competitive health board tenders for Financial Management since 2005, with the Nelson, Hawkes Bay, Tairwahiti and the Lakes District Health Boards all using TechnologyOne software solutions.

The company added more than eight major deals in the past 12 months and signed its 100th New Zealand customer at the end of June.
