The Warehouse stores all open in Christchurch
The Warehouse has confirmed that its eight Christchurch stores are all open today.
All stores have undergone thorough checks by structural engineers who have declared them structurally safe. Those potentially affected by today’s aftershocks have been rechecked and are open as usual.
The Warehouse’s South Island Distribution Centre is being further inspected today and is expected to reopen late this week or early next week.
Human Resources Director at The Warehouse, Paul Walsh, says, “The safety of our team and customers, as always, continues to take precedence.
“Following this morning’s significant aftershock, any team members with concerns for their families or properties, or those who do not feel comfortable travelling, have been advised to stay home.”
Customers can visit www.thewarehouse.co.nz for regularly updated information regarding its stores, all of which are open for business. The new Rolleston store is set to open this Saturday, 11 September.
