Rodney local offers unique tree care and maintenance service
EnviroArb takes pride in its backyard – and, with Spring on our doorsteps, the tree company is now looking after other people’s trees and yards.
Rodney local, executive member of the New Zealand Arboricultural Association and EnviroArb Director Jon Redfern has nearly two decades’ industry experience, including more than ten years contracting and six years as a consulting arborist.
Mr Redfern has recently established EnviroArb Limited offering a full range of arboricultural services, including all aspects of tree care and maintenance, yard maintenance and management, planting and transplanting, and consultancy activities, such as arboricultural reports.
“We are essentially a one-stop-shop for everything tree related,” says Mr Redfern. “We’re committed to providing exceptional environmentally focused tree care and management and outstanding customer service.”
This commitment is based on many years in the tree industry, vast arboricultural knowledge and experience, and a strong environmental focus.
As part of this focus, the company is offering one of the region’s only liquid compost treatments for trees in the form of compost tea.
“Our business is trees and the environment, and our choices and practices affect this – that’s why we use environmentally friendly practices, such as compost tea, and work hard to reduce our environmental footprint,” says Mr Redfern.
He explains: “Compost tea is a non chemical treatment that benefits soil, helps prevent disease and increases longevity, growth, density and colour of trees and gardens.”
Best used through programmed applications, liquid compost is used by a number of horticulturists to create healthy trees that increase harvest. It also mitigates construction activities that may have negative effects on trees in the vicinity.
EnviroArb is qualified, insured and uses safe, current industry standards and practices.
