Christchurch International Airport congratulates Auckland International Airport for winning the prestigious Routes marketing award for the Asia-Pacific region.
“Internationally, New Zealand continues to be recognised for the marketing of its tourism attractions and experiences, and it’s terrific to see that this prestigious marketing award has stayed in New Zealand hands,” said CIAL General Manager Marketing and Business Development, Gareth Owen.
Both Christchurch and Auckland Airports have joint marketing campaigns with airlines and tourism organisations to help promote their regions and New Zealand overseas.
Christchurch Airport won three international Routes Marketing awards in 2009.
