Hirepool Continues Growth

Hirepool Continues Growth with Two Senior Appointments

Hirepool Limited has made two new senior appointments as it continues to strengthen its position as the premier rental equipment solutions provider. Hirepool is part of the New Zealand Rental Group, the country’s leading industrial services and equipment solutions provider.

Russell Keach has been appointed General Hire Branches Manager, Auckland/Northland, while Warren Twort steps up to the role of Sales Manager, Auckland/Northland. Both men bring a wealth of industry and management experience.

Keach, the company’s longest-serving employee, has been with Hirepool for 35 years, working across almost the entire Auckland branch network in a variety of roles, including Branch Manager and more recently he was Business Relationship & Property Manager.

“I remember starting on a casual basis back in October 1975 helping a friend deliver party hire gear, and I think I just forgot to go home,” he says. “But it’s been a great ride with a great company and terrific of people.” In his new role Keach will manage up to 100 staff across 12 branches from Whangarei to Takanini, and is looking forward “to growing the business and upholding the excellent staff and customer safety standards that Hirepool pride’s itself on.”

Meanwhile, Twort has been with Hirepool for 18 years, starting as a checker back in 1982. He left after eight years and returned in 1999, and has built solid customer relationships more recently as a Business Relationship Manager. In his new role he will be responsible for growing sales across the Auckland/Northland area and is “looking forward to supporting existing customer relationships and building our growing customer base.”

New Zealand Rental Group Chief Executive Mark Powell says the appointments demonstrate Hirepool’s commitment to create and maintain sustainable partnerships with customers, suppliers and staff. “I’m confident Russell and Warren will play key leadership roles in the growth of the businesses,” he says.
