Mentor Comes To CHCH To Help Businesses Post-Earthquake

Millionaire Mentor Comes To Christchurch To Help Businesses Post-Earthquake

Geoff Kirkwood, international business mentor and co-author of the soon-to-be-released book Millionaire Mentors, will be visiting Christchurch in early March to deliver the keynote presentation at a new business event which promises to help central city businesses get back on their feet following the recent earthquakes.

Rarely do local business owners have the opportunity to access a millionaire mindset and accelerate their own success but on 3 March, Kirkwood will be sharing his secrets for business growth and increased profits as part of The Growing Business 'More PROFIT' Fun Day Out. Kirkwood will deliver an entertaining and insightful presentation entitled 'How to Build Million Dollar Relationships', where he will share his guaranteed system for effective and fun relationship building, a system he has used to develop his own million dollar business.

Kirkwood has been mentoring people for over 20 years and he currently works with clients in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Canada and the USA. His wealth of business experience makes him a highly sought after international speaker and to date he has shared his secrets with audiences large and small in eight countries, over two decades.

The importance of building strong relationships and the movement towards networking online via sites such as LinkedIn and Ecademy will be discussed and Kirkwood will impress upon his audience that it is not just Gen-Y who can leverage social media networks. Kirkwood has over 1,250 1st level connections on LinkedIn and over 1,000 connections on Ecademy; many of whom he is now mentoring.

When the opportunity to speak in Christchurch came up, Kirkwood was quick to accept and given the challenges local businesses are currently facing he believes that the timing of the event is pertinent. "When times are tough in business the real value of relationships can be seen and reconnecting with your customers needs to become a priority" Kirkwood said.

Event organiser Karen Hamilton of 360 Degree Events acknowledges that Christchurch central city businesses are some of the hardest hit from the recent earthquakes. "The central city is the heart of Christchurch; hundreds of businesses, retail outlets and community services are based here and we need to work together to bring people back into the city and grow our businesses." Hamilton said. "We want to make sure that this event is accessible for the central city businesses, so we are offering all Christchurch Central City Business Association members a 15% discount off the registration fee." she said.

Kirkwood will be accompanied by an impressive line-up of speakers combining international knowledge with local experience to deliver a powerful set of fun, take-home, easy-to-implement systems that will improve the sales, marketing, customer service and profitability of any business. The focus of The Growing Business 'More PROFIT' Fun Day Out will be on interaction and sharing tools, tips and strategies on how to increase businesses profitability.
