Fairfax Magazines Readership Has Kiwi Audiences Covered

Fairfax Magazines Readership Has Kiwi Audiences Covered

The latest Nielsen National Readership and ABC Audited Circulation figures released today show leading lifestyle publisher Fairfax Magazines continues to have New Zealand audiences covered. 

All Fairfax Magazines consumer titles recorded year-on-year readership growth.

Fairfax Magazines’ best performers are NZ Life & Leisure with 28.6 per cent increase in readership and 8 per cent increase in circulation year-on-year, Boating NZ with 16.1 per cent readership growth year-on-year, NZ Fishing News with 23.1 per cent readership growth year-on-year, NZ Lifestyle Block with 18.3 per cent readership growth year-on-year, and NZ Gardener with a year-on-year readership growth of 12.1 per cent.

NZ Life & Leisure continues to lead growth in the lifestyle market as the fastest growing magazine in the category and is one of the fastest growing overall. NZ Life & Leisure editor, Kate Coughlan, says; "We are delighted with this powerful readership growth and the way our readers are promoting the magazine to their friends and family."

While food titles across the board have delivered strong readership results, Cuisine firmly remains the market leader reaching over 400,000 readers and NZ House & Garden again leading the home and garden category with 561,000 readers.

Fairfax’s male interest titles performed well again over the year, with NZ Fishing News snaring a healthy catch of new readers, now reaching 320,000 New Zealanders. The portfolio of men’s titles attract a large male audience across the country, reaching 724,000 Kiwi males.**
