Out Of Town Property Investors Needed In Rotorua

Thursday 7 April PRESS RELEASE

It appears to be a common misconception that demand for rental properties in Rotorua has decreased; however this is still not the case. With the economic climate causing concern in other sectors, the reality is that people still need somewhere to live.

Generally, there are two reasons why a property does not rent – Location and Situation.

Donna Russell owner of Russell Hardie property management says that their prospective tenant selection has increased with some clients restructuring, choosing to rent rather than buy. Well priced, well presented properties do not sit long on the rental market.

She says “We are seeing a demand currently for three and four bedroom family homes in good areas, fully fenced with some form of heating and garaging”.

Now the shortage is so low that companies like Russell Hardies are contacting out of town property investors with houses in the Rotorua region, to help them fill the gap.

Donna says, “Because we are a small company we can really focus on tenanting our homes. As a result, we are constantly looking out for vacant properties and now more than ever from out of town property investors”.

We have all heard comments about various Property managers. Some positive, some not so positive, selection of a property manager is crucial. The aim is to find a great one as opposed to one who goes through the motions and does a satisfactory job.

“Our goal for landlords is to achieve the maximum return possible with minimal hassles from your investment. By maintaining a standard we are able to achieve higher than average rents and attract desirable tenants”.

Due to the presentation of Russell Hardie properties and their pro-activeness in the market. Russell Hardie has a very good success rate with matching tenants to properties.
