MasterCard Papers March 2011
Please find attached the March 2011 edition of the
MasterCard Papers.
We look this month at Statistics New Zealand data which is showing signs of slightly stronger spending in New Zealand, primarily in core retail. A range of factors will be contributing to this, but the RBNZ’s decision to cut the Official Cash Rate (OCR) by 50 basis points certainly will have helped.
As usual, if you have any questions or comments about the MasterCard Papers, or would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the MasterCard team.
