New Zealand Graduate Employers Summit

New Zealand Graduate Employers Summit

Thursday 8th September 2011 Afternoon (12-5pm) Deloitte House, Auckland, New Zealand Registration fee $95 (per person)

We are excited to inform you that registrations are now open for this half day summit! The first of its kind to occur in New Zealand proudly supported by GradConnection New Zealand and Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE).

The September New Zealand Graduate Employers Summit is open to all New Zealand graduate employers, no matter whether an organisation operates a formal graduate/summer programmes, offer graduate/internship roles or simply consider graduates for entry level roles within an organisation.

The purpose of this event is to bring New Zealand graduate employers together across all industries for an informative and interactive series of presentations and discussions. The hope is that the Summit will become the catalyst to New Zealand forming its own Association, similar to the AAGE in Australia (and other countries' associations such as the UK, USA, Canada, South Africa and Hong Kong).

The program is currently being finalised, but so far we expect a series of presentations and panel sessions to include topics such as 'Graduate Recruitment Worldwide', 'Graduate Development', 'Social Media in NZ', 'Current issues' and more.

Confirmed presenters will include: Ben Reeves (AAGE CEO), Ainsley Gilkes (Attraction & Selection Manager at OneSteel and Director & Company Secretary at AAGE), Josh Mackenzie (Director of Development Beyond Learning, Australia), Tim Watts, Robert Milne (Directors, GradConnection New Zealand) and a number of New Zealand HR professionals working for well-known organisations, including: Deloitte, KPMG, Russell McVeagh and more.
