Mt Albert’s Favourite Café Celebrates 12 Years of Service

Mt Albert’s Favourite Café Celebrates 12 Years of Service

AUCKLAND – Triniti of Silver Café this month celebrated 12 years of serving fantastic food and coffee in the heart of the Mt Albert shopping precinct.

Owners Estella and Prabhakar Rao attribute their café’s success to a combination of factors. “Our use of ethically sourced ingredients is a real draw card,” says Estella. “We use genuine free-range eggs, as well as free-range chicken and beef and free-farmed pork.” In September, the café won a Good Egg Award from the SPCA for its use of certified free-range eggs.

Prabhakar also points to the smooth, well-balanced Allpress coffee served by Triniti of Silver as a reason for the café’s enduring popularity. “We start with a great espresso blend, and our experienced baristas take great care to get the most from that blend.”

The café has a loyal and diverse following in Mt Albert and the wider Auckland community. “We provide highchairs and toys for the little ones, so we see a lot of parents,” says Estella. “We also have a separate seating area just for adults, and we also have wifi in the café, which brings in a lot of businesspeople.”

As an independent café, Triniti of Silver occupies a special place in the Mt Albert community. “Locals appreciate that we’re not part of a city- or nation-wide chain,” says Prabhakar, adding that this lets the café focus exclusively on the needs of its local customers.

Estella and Prabhakar see an even brighter future ahead for Triniti of Silver. They recently completed work on a stunning enclosed courtyard, and have started to open the café late on Friday nights in response to repeated requests from customers.

Triniti of Silver Café is located at 911 New North Road, Mt Albert. The café is open seven days a week from 7am to 4pm (till late on Fridays). Open public holidays with no surcharge. Fully licenced.
