The explosion of smart phones and tablets entering the market has seen a rapid growth in a whole new segment of personal computing with a real emphasis on “personal” and “portability”. With this explosion has come a demand for many of these devices to be able to access the corporate network such that a new acronym has been coined – BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). But while these devices are great enablers for mobility and business productivity they also bring inherent security risks and support issues with them.
