Techtonics Scoops Asia-Pacific Award
Techtonics New Zealand has proven its weight among some of the biggest IT players in the Asia-Pacific, scooping the Opentext ECM Regional Partner of the Year Award for Asia, Pacific and Japan.
The New Zealand owned and operated information management services company with offices in Wellington and Auckland has outperformed more than 220 partner companies in the region with OpenText the world’s largest independent ECM (Enterprise Content Management) company.
Greg Bickerton, CEO of Techtonics says it is a huge honour for a New Zealand company to win the award, one of three global Partner of the Year awards made by OpenText annually.
“It is a significant affirmation that Opentext is confident its technology has world class support and representation in the New Zealand market with Techtonics,” says Mr Bickerton.
“Techtonics has shifted to the newest ECM technology from OpenText which is now being adopted by the Ministry of Economic Development, Department of Labour, Te Puni Kōkiri and Fonterra, among others.
“This, combined with our investment in developing a highly skilled consulting team, has given both clients and OpenText confidence of best-practice global support by Techtonics.”
A major achievement for Techtonics has been winning a four-year contract with the Ministry of Economic Development to implement and support OpenText Content Server 10, the core platform in a suite of electronic records and data management systems that allow integrated management of information and processes.
Mr Bickerton believes this can pave the way for improved links and benefits across all agencies and to the general public. “This is indeed Information powering productivity.
“Ultimately, this award gives
New Zealand customers who are in the market for information
management systems can have added assurance that when
selecting OpenText technology, they are accessing a world
class partner in the design, implementation and support of
these systems in New Zealand.”
