Queenstown’s newest village location on the sunny side of Lake Wakatipu is a conference organisers dream. Hilton Queenstown officially opened in the village in late June 2011 and is offering a full meeting and events service which includes several exclusive ‘clip on’ packages. Hilton Queenstown has 178 rooms and a maximum event capacity of 220. Several conference rooms have outdoor areas and spectacular lake and mountain views A further 98 rooms are available at the neighbouring Kawarau Hotel, managed by Hilton. The Village is connected to downtown Queenstown via the Kawarau Village shuttle service and water taxi service. Restaurants include Wakatipu Grill, Cru Wine Bar & Lounge, Me & Mee Noodle Bar, Kawarau Hotel Lobby Bar, Stacks Pub and The Lake Counter Café, Grocery and Deli.
