Treat Me’s mobile deal platform launched today
The first deals on group buying website Treat Me’s new Treat Me Now platform went live in Auckland and Wellington this morning at 12:01a.m.
Treat Me Now is a new way for businesses to offer localised, real-time deals to customers that can be locked, loaded and live within as little as 15 minutes.
James MacAvoy, Head of Treat Me, said businesses had been very keen to get on board.
“Ninety per cent of the business owners we’ve spoken to have signed up on the spot. Treat Me Now appeals as something new and different, and it really hands businesses the reins so they can create deals and get them under way when it suits. It’s insanely convenient.”
Mr MacAvoy said Kiwi consumers would be in for some great deals to celebrate Treat Me Now going live.
“There’s a whole heap of $1 treats to look out for – everything from calamari and popcorn, to saunas and tenpin bowling. We’re confident consumers are going to love this new way to collect a great deal and we’re excited to have it out in the great wide open today.”
Treat Me Now deals can be bought via a new IOS mobile app available to download for free from the Apple App Store (http://www.treatme.co.nz/iphoneapp). Deals are also displayed on a dedicated section of the Treat Me website (http://www.treatme.co.nz/now/).
There are also some cool prizes up for grabs for people who buy a Treat Me Now deal before 14 December.
