Hilton Queenstown Announces Offer to Entice Event Organisers

Hilton Queenstown Announces New Offer to Entice Event Organisers to Queenstown

Queenstown, April 10, 2012 – Hilton Queenstown has announced an exciting promotion to entice event organisers to their stunning new lakefront property this autumn.

Any new meeting, conference or event business that is held at Hilton Queenstown between 1 April 2012 and 30 June 2012 with a minimum of 15 rooms will receive:

• Double Hilton HHonors Event Bonus Points
• Complimentary wireless internet connection within the provided function room
• One complimentary accommodation room per night per 15 paid rooms, including breakfast and daily delegate package.

The offer is available for new business for events that will be held in April, May or June this year and provides even more reason to visit the Southern Hemisphere’s premier four season lake and alpine resort.

“Autumn and the early part of winter is a magical time in Queenstown, the resort embraces a lovely relaxing vibe and visitors get the opportunity to mingle with locals and truly unwind after a busy day of meetings,” commented Marlene Poynder, General Manager at Hilton Queenstown and Kawarau Hotel, managed by Hilton.

Hilton Queenstown is the only hotel positioned directly on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, offering 178 accommodation rooms and a maximum event capacity of 200. There are six unique meeting spaces; including private boardrooms, and several conference rooms have outdoor areas and spectacular lake and mountain views.

Both hotels are located in the heart of Kawarau Village, which offers a range of entertainment and dining options onsite. The Village is only five minutes drive from Queenstown International Airport and is only 8 minutes by water taxi, or 15 minutes by car, to the centre of Queenstown, making it easy to maximise delegates valuable time in Queenstown.

Ensure your meeting or event is a memorable one by making an unforgettable impression with Hilton Queenstown. Basic half day delegate rates start from NZ$50 and full day delegate rates start from NZ$65, per person.
