Keep Safe this Silly Season with Déjà View
TAURANGA, Tuesday 30th October: Crime and the summer holidays go hand in hand, but Bay of Plenty residents can rest easy this festive season thanks to unique surveillance systems from local award-winning internet service provider, EOL.
The state-of-the-art systems, called Déjà View, use web cameras to capture images at determined locations and store the images for viewing live or for up to two months after recording.
One of the major benefits of Déjà View over traditional surveillance systems is that all data is stored off-site on EOL’s servers, keeping the images secure even if the cameras themselves are stolen or damaged, or in case of fire.
The systems have a wide range of applications; from homes and businesses to enterprises with multiple locations; all can be safeguarded with Déjà View.
EOL CEO, Terry Coles, says that the surveillance system is designed to give users peace of mind when they are away from their homes, and adds that the company and its installers are all certified security consultants.
“Over summer, many people leave their homes and businesses unattended, putting them at higher risk of being targeted by criminal activity. Déjà View provides reassurance for customers, as they can access the web cameras anytime, anywhere – even on their smartphones,” says Coles.
Coles says that people have traditionally been put off from installing security systems due to high installation and maintenance costs, and that Déjà View removes this barrier.
“Déjà View is an affordable solution. After installation, monthly packages start from $15. We believe it is a great investment as it can deter intruders and thieves and, because the images can be viewed live, users can respond immediately if they see something is amiss,” says Coles.
A single Déjà View camera system is available from $395 while additional cameras can be installed from $339. Monthly packages are priced from $15 per month for one camera, $25 per month for three cameras, or $35 per month for five cameras.
