Market Report
Monday 18 February – Local share
markets closed out the day on a high note, off to a strong
start for the week. Unfettered by less encouraging results
out of the US, the Australian market was heartened by the
vigour of the financials and consumer staples sectors.
Telcos and materials were the only sectors to buck the
upward trend.
The All Ordinaries gained 28.30 points
(0.56%) to 5,082.90 while the S&P/ASX 200 rose 29.50 points
