Simpson Grierson becomes professionelle's first corporate partner

Simpson Grierson has recently become the first corporate partner of Professionelle Foundation, the charitable trust committed to fostering the career needs of New Zealand's working women.

Through becoming a corporate partner, Simpson Grierson will benefit from a range of initiatives designed to help the firm's female lawyers develop their client relationships, networking and marketing abilities as well as leadership potential.

Commenting on the affiliation, Simpson Grierson partner and board member Anne Callinan said:
"We are delighted to partner with Professionelle. As a firm we are committed to addressing the needs of working women and providing opportunities for professional development. We believe this partnership will give our lawyers the edge and enhance our client relationships."

Professionelle was founded in 2007 initially as an online community directed at women in large public and private organisations and professional services firms. In addition to online resources, the organisation now provides networking seminars, coaching and mentoring opportunities as well as a range of professional development workshops.

Galia Barhava-Monteith, co-founder of Professionelle added:
"We are looking forward to working with Simpson Grierson and believe the partnership will provide true value to the career development of the firm's female lawyers."
