BP Leads Sixth Consecutive Price Reduction at the Pumps
BP has this morning led a further national price reduction on petrol and diesel at its company-owned sites. BP has decreased the price of petrol by 3 cents per litre and diesel by 2 cents per litre, bringing the price at most BP owned service stations to:
91 Unleaded $ 204.9 cents per
litre
95 Unleaded $ 212.9 cents per litre
Ultimate
Diesel $ 142.9 cents per litre
“Cost of product on the international market has continued to tumble downwards, leading to the many recent price decreases. This is our sixth consecutive price decrease over the last month,” BP Communications Manager, Jonty Mills said.
“It’s simply a reflection of the current market conditions internationally. Concerns have been growing that demand is slowing, particularly in China, and with supplies growing, classic economic fundamentals are kicking in.
“We don’t know how long this trend will last but it’s great that we can pass these benefits through to motorists quickly at the moment,” he said.
