Search on for New Zealand’s Young Executive of the Year

The South Island candidate for the annual New Zealand Young Executive of the Year Award will be named in Christchurch on Wednesday.

The five regional finalists in the NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year Award have been put through their paces by the judging panel and will speak at this week’s awards presentation dinner before the winner is announced. The southern regional candidate will then compete with nominees from North Island regions for the national title.

The 2013 NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year will be announced at the Deloitte Top 200 Awards, on November 28.

The NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year Award was established in 1994 to recognise outstanding individuals who are prepared to embrace emerging business best practices, and search out new opportunities while demonstrating excellence in leadership and management practice.

NZIM Southern has five applicants under consideration as the 2013 regional representative. These finalists come from diverse organisations spread throughout the South Island including Canterbury, Westland, Otago and the Central Lakes Districts.

The Southern region winner will be announced by Eagle Technology Chief Executive Officer, Gary Langford. Eagle technology has sponsored this event since 2005.
