Iconic New Zealand Hotels Support Forest &
Bird
Chateau Tongariro Hotel and Wairakei Resort Taupo, together with over 300 accommodation rooms on the North Island’s Central Plateau have today announced a partnership with Forest & Bird New Zealand with each hotel stocking Forest & Bird branded in-room amentities.
Group General Manager Kathy Guy made the decision to partner with Forest & Bird because of its aims relating to conservation and synergy with the hotels own aims on sustainability.
“We have opted to go with the new Forest & Bird Range which is an all natural New Zealand product with a percentage of this unique range going back to Forest & Bird to support their invaluable work in protecting our native plants, animals and wild places on the land and oceans.”
“By supporting these amenities we are not only supporting Forest & Bird but also supporting New Zealand Made.”
