Winners of New Zealand’s first Graduate Industry Awards

The New Zealand Association of Graduate Employers (NZAGE) revealed the winners of New Zealand’s first Graduate Industry Awards last night at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland.

Winners were announced in five award categories:
1. Best graduate print campaign: Chapman Tripp
2. Best online graduate campaign: Deloitte
3. Best Careers services: Auckland University
4. Best Innovation in the Graduate Industry: EY
5. Best Graduate Development Programme: The Warehouse

The NZAGE Industry Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate best practice in the recruitment, selection and development of graduate talent and attracted entries from across a broad range of organisations. Seren Wilson commented that the award entries reflected very positively on the calibre of graduate employers in the NZ market.

Award entries were judged by an independent panel comprised of University Careers Service Managers, Industry experts and students. Tim Watts, Chair of the NZAGE Board said he was very pleased with the interest the awards attracted from their member organisations in their inaugural year and the opportunity for NZAGE members to gain key insights into successful graduate strategy and practice.

The NZAGE is the industry body educating, and supporting organisations that recruit and develop New Zealand graduates.  Further information on the NZAGE and membership opportunities can be found at www.nzage.co.nz
