Xero seeks New Zealand leader
15 November 2013
Online accounting software company Xero is creating a new position of New Zealand Managing Director to look after its fast growing business in New Zealand.
Xero CEO Rod Drury says “Our NZ operation is already a $20m business. Over the next couple of years we plan to introduce a range of new services and deliver some world firsts that will be noticed globally. As Xero expands offshore we’re now big enough to have a dedicated leader for our local market.”
“This is a huge role and an exciting opportunity for New Zealand’s best talent. The opportunity in New Zealand where we already enjoy significant market share is exciting as we introduce a number of new services connected with online banking, business to Government and payments,” says Drury.
In addition to being a key member of the global sales leadership team, the role will be Xero’s New Zealand face to market, driving relationships with Government, Financial Institutions, Corporates and media.
The role will be supported by a strong management team, including General Manager, Amanda Armstrong who continues to lead New Zealand sales.
