New Philips QuickClean Juicer takes the hassle out of juicing

Auckland, New Zealand – Philips proudly introduces the QuickCleanTM Juicer, the game-changing super-fast cleaning juicer, which is set to make the prospect of creating healthy, homemade fresh juices much more appealing.

The QuickClean Juicer has a groundbreaking inverted (upside-down) electro-polish sieve, which produces up to 10% more juice  and prevents fibres getting stuck so it can be cleaned safely and easily with a sponge or cloth. There are no sharp blades to clean and all removable components are dishwasher-safe.

“The thing that people usually complain about more than anything else when it comes to juicing is the cleaning. Philips has listened – it now takes less than a minute to clean your machine. I’m passionate about juicing – I juice two or three times every day and I need a machine that will take the job on,” says Juice Master, Jason Vale.

Jason Vale has been promoting the health benefits of fresh juicing for over a decade and is an advocate of the Philips QuickClean as he has demonstrated in this video.

“The QuickClean juicer is all about maximum juice with minimum fuss,” says Nick Perry, Marketing Manager, Philips Consumer Lifestyle.

It features an extra-large feeding tube, which means other fruit and vegetables don’t need to be diced. A powerful 900w motor can juice the toughest ingredients and there are two speeds for hard ingredients and softer ingredients. It is easy to assemble, can make up to 2.5 litres of juice at a time, has a spout to pour juice directly into a glass or jug and comes with a jug included.

With orange juice a perennial favourite, Philips has also responded to consumer demand by equipping the QuickClean with a special easy-to-use citrus attachment.

“Philips is committed to providing innovative solutions that meet needs of our customers who are increasingly health conscious, and often lead busy lives. Efficient appliances, such as the QuickClean Juicer make life easier and encourage healthy living,” says Mr Perry.

The Philips QuickClean Juicer received an award in the international ‘Red Dot Design Award’ competition in 2012, which recognised the general high-quality design, and particularly the innovative easy-to-clean inverted sieve system.

The Philips QuickClean Juicer HR1870 (RRP $399) is now available at Farmers and Noel Leeming.
