Villa Maria has collected an impressive six golds at
the Hawkes Bay A&P Wine Awards, the oldest, regional wine
competition in New Zealand.
Villa Maria’s viticulturist Ollie Powrie said the gold medals were a great addition to the team’s list of awards for Hawkes Bay wines. “We’ve got an amazing team who have an unyielding commitment to produce high quality wine”.

Entries are only accepted from wineries with wine made from 85% Hawke’s Bay
Grapes. The awards identify and celebrate excellence in wine making in the Hawke’s Bay region. With 2013 being such an exceptional vintage, these gold’s truly show their and quality and class.
