Boosting the nation’s wellbeing - Humour in business

Boosting the nation’s wellbeing - Humour in business is not an oxymoron!

Pat Armitstead, NZ’s own Joyologist and Caroline Welkin, comic genius will join forces to bring a workshop designed for coaches; trainers; speakers; sales people; real estate professionals; solopreneurs to discover their own creative and comic sparks for work and life.

Pat and Caroline wanted to boost the nation’s wellbeing after reading that we rank 17th in the personal wellbeing area of the Sovereign Wellbeing Index. The lowest results were vitality, resilience, self-esteem and positive function. Joyology and Stand & Deliver work to increase people and businesses wellbeing by boosting energy, activating brilliance and good humour.

Caroline and Pat felt impelled to reach as many people as possible to develop their ability to connect. They feel humour is the most useful tool to do that.

Participants will leave with immediate practical application on how to:

• Engage and build rapport using humour
• Access and work with story and metaphor for impact
• Be authentic and composed in their presentation

The Natural Brilliance workshop will be held Sunday 22nd November at Vaughan Park, 1043 Beach Road, Long Bay on Auckland’s North Shore, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Pat says “I am thrilled to be working with Caroline. We have both brought so much joy and laughter to people in all walks of life over the years. This synthesis of joyful creativity will be a brilliant day of discovery. Aha;s will become Ha ha’s.” Caroline says “Ha ha’s will become aha’s!”
