Viridian Glass Confirms Expansion of Highbrook Site

Viridian Glass New Zealand Confirms Expansion of Highbrook Site.

Following the successful joint venture with Euroglass in 2012, Viridian New Zealand continues to strengthen its position in New Zealand by announcing today that in 2016 it will move from its two processing sites at Mount Wellington and Auckland Airport to a purpose-built facility at Highbrook. The new factory will be situated next to its existing factory at Highbrook that specialises in producing insulated glass units for windows, doors and facades.

The new factory will be a flexible glass processing plant that will enable Viridian to produce a wide variety of innovative glass solutions efficiently. Lars Bloch-Kristensen, Viridian New Zealand’s CEO says, “The new factory is a substantial investment in New Zealand and the glass industry, which will better serve our customers by ensuring all glass products are delivered from the same site”.

“A semi-automatic factory ensures that we can adjust swiftly to our customers’ demands and introduce new and innovative forms of glass solutions to the residential and commercial sectors” stated Mr Bloch-Kristensen.

Goodman Property will be working in conjunction with Viridian New Zealand to ensure that the design and layout of the factory is tailored towards their current and future customers, ensuring that the organisation is well-placed to meet market growth.
