RIB to launch concurrently at the Auckland On Water Boat Show and the Monaco Yacht Show

Superyacht captain to launch custom tender brand JP RIBS at the Auckland On Water Boat Show, and the Monaco Yacht Show concurrently.

Created by a father and son duo, custom tender brand JP RIBS will launch concurrently this September at the Auckland On Water Boat Show and Monaco Yacht Show. Superyacht captain Jonathan Edgar has partnered with his father, Phil Edgar, to craft a line of custom RIBS which pairs a superyacht standard-finish with exceptionally high performance.

To celebrate their launch the team at JP RIBS will be three days out on the water in a JP RIBS vessel to visitors who enter at the Auckland On Water Boat Show or through jpribs.com.

The RIBs are crafted by hand in Northland fusing unparalleled performance with quality and endurance; with vessels capable of reaching up to 60knots. Combining a slick finish and high spec technology, with the care and attention that comes through hand moulding by craftsmen with impeccable pedigree; JP RIBS offers a custom solution for superyacht tenders and RIBS.

“We wanted to bring back the eye for detail that comes with hand-crafting and couple it with high-performance to create a bespoke tender package,” says Jonathan Edgar.

“We avoid a mass production approach, ensuring every tender is designed to the client’s specifications.”

Performance is important to the duo with Phil and Jonathan’s passion for design and style and Jonathan’s 14 year career in the superyacht industry and his approach taken to guest comfort and performance.

Built by hand in New Zealand, Phil, works on each vessel individually using proven techniques in combination with the latest technological developments to create your JP Custom RIB.

Launching to market for the first time at this year’s show, JP RIBs will be on stand M25 to view at the Auckland On Water Boat Show, and available for trials throughout the event.
