FairWay to provide a workplace conflict management service

FairWay to provide a workplace conflict management service

Nationwide conflict management and dispute resolution specialist, FairWay Resolution Limited has announced that it has launched a workplace conflict management service.

In 2014 FairWay released the findings of research into the extent of conflict in New Zealand workplaces that found within a 12 month period almost one quarter (24%) of employees had experienced at least one disagreement or argument at work that distracted or prevented them from doing their job.

The results suggest that loss of productivity due to workplace conflict is significant – particularly given that a third of those disagreements lasted for longer than one month.

Chief Executive, Greg Pollock says the research underlines the need to recognise that workplace conflict exists and that if not managed effectively it can substantially erode productivity - whether through increased absenteeism, staff turnover, failure to meet targets, lost business efficiency or damaged business relationships.

“FairWay’s new service will focus on four key areas: workplace investigations, conflict coaching, training and dispute resolution”.

Pollock says FairWay’s uniqueness in this market comes from our know-how in delivering client-focused, professional, consistent conflict management and dispute resolution services – on a significant scale.

“FairWay is excited to be providing this service that will help businesses learn from, prevent, manage and resolve conflict.”
