PwC strengthens its tax service offerings
PwC strengthens its tax service offerings by acquiring TaxTeam
PwC New Zealand is growing the tax offerings of its firm with the acquisition of Wellington-based, tax specialist practice TaxTeam. The business, and 12 staff members, will move in to PwC’s Wellington office on 113-119 The Terrace today.
PwC Tax and Private Business Leader Geof Nightingale says, “TaxTeam is an independent tax advisory practice that is well known and respected throughout the country, especially for its tax risk management services in local and central Government, health and tertiary institutions.
“We’re pleased to announce our acquisition which will help to broaden PwC's footprint within the Government sector and reinforce the depth of our tax service offerings.”
TaxTeam Director Jeff Eaton believes it is a positive move for both clients and the team.
Mr Eaton says, “TaxTeam has been a very successful tax advisory practice in its own right yet needed the support structures of a larger firm in order to maintain and enhance our client services into the future.
“The high quality level of service we currently deliver will remain unchanged, but supported by the greater depth and breadth of PwC.”
