Indue appoints Roger Sowry as part of NZ growth

Payment solutions provider Indue is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Sowry to its New Zealand Advisory Board.

Roger Sowry, currently a partner at Saunders Unsworth, has had a successful 15-year career in the New Zealand Parliament, most notably as Deputy Leader of the National Party, and spent two-and-a-half years as Chief Executive of Arthritis New Zealand.

“We are pleased that Roger has agreed to work with us. Given his extensive experience with the New Zealand Government and his deep local knowledge we have no doubt he will make a significant contribution in helping us explore opportunities to expand our business in the New Zealand market,” Indue’s Chief Executive Officer, Manuel Garcia said.

Indue provides the Australian Federal Government with a number of card-based products including the BasicsCard and the soon-to-be-released Cashless Debit Card. Indue is also the issuer of the recently launched Coles Prepaid Card. Indue has the unique ability to help its customers unlock opportunities and will work with New Zealand clients to introduce innovative payment solutions into the New Zealand financial services sector.

Indue was recently announced as the sixth affiliate member of the New Zealand Bankers’ Association, highlighting the company’s commitment to working with the New Zealand banking industry.
