Target Group strengthens presence with two key appointments

As a result of continued growth, Target Group, the financial services outsourcing and software provider, today announces the appointments of Gurraj Bhachu and Thais Bottierito further strengthen its team in Australia and New Zealand.

Target has built a significant business within the general insurance market with regional clients including Medical Assurance Society (MAS) and TOWER Group.

Joining from ANZ One Path, Gurraj brings a wealth of business transformation experience in life and general insurance to his new role where he will focus on consultancy and business support to our clients.

Thais joins from Tokio Marine Seguradora in São Paulo, Brazil where she was focussed on applications development and maintenance for general insurance products. Having gained significant experience with Java (and associated technologies), Thais will initially be focussed on supporting the development and implementation of IF Channel, our next generation digital distribution and sales platform; delivering dynamic products, rating and personalised channels across web, call centre, mobile and tablet.

Gurraj and Thais are based at Target’s Auckland office.

Commenting on the new appointments, David Conway, Head of Delivery Services said:

Their appointments are part of an ongoing commitment to strengthen our local presence in Australia and New Zealand which will allow us to grow our business and further support our clients.
