EMA Endorses Helen Clark’s UN Nomination
Confirmation of Helen Clark’s nomination for the position of United Nations Secretary-General has been welcomed by the EMA.
“This is excellent news for our country, and a nomination of someone of Helen Clark’s calibre will be welcomed by our members and the business community alike,” says Kim Campbell, CEO, EMA.
“As a voice of business, I wholeheartedly endorse her nomination and wish her all the best for her campaign over the coming months.”
Should Ms Clark’s candidacy succeed, New Zealand’s public profile as leading nation will rise increasingly, says Mr Campbell.
“I think sectors most likely to benefit from this potential appointment will include tourism, agriculture and foreign direct investment.”
