Wake up and smell the coffee for a great cause!
Every New Zealander can contribute to fighting breast cancer this May, simply by going out for breakfast in their own neighbourhood.
Customers visiting their local Robert Harris café throughout May can order off the menu and 10% of their meal purchase will be donated to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Appeal. Forty-two Robert Harris cafés throughout New Zealand are taking part in this initiative.
One in nine New Zealanders will be affected by breast cancer in their lifetime, with over 3000 women being diagnosed every year.
David Thackery, Robert Harris Franchise Manager, says; “We are thrilled to be involved for the third year running with the Pink Ribbon Breakfasts. We are aiming to have raised $100,000 in total by the end of the 2016 Campaign.”
“Robert Harris continues to
support the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation in our
fight against breast cancer. The research funded as a result
of Pink Ribbon Breakfasts will help save Kiwi women,” said
Evangelia Henderson, Chief Executive, New Zealand Breast
Cancer Foundation.
