Metro Commercial have won the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) New Zealand Retail Team of the year award for the second year in succession, against many of the much larger real estate agencies and consultancies in New Zealand.
Metro Director, Nathan Male, says “we are very proud to have won such a prestigious award from the RICS, considered the world’s leading body for qualifications, standards and professional ethics in the construction and property industry. This is a great result and further underlines our position as one of New Zealand’s leading commercial property brokerage firms, highlighting Metro’s consistent capability to provide outstanding results for our clients.”
The key project in the Retail Award category was the sourcing and securing the new Countdown Supermarket on Lambton Quay. The state of the art Metro supermarket, which opened last month has been well received and provides further convenience and competition across the city.
