Wellington property investors banking on a change
Wellington 21/7/2016
Wellington property investors association are reviewing their long association with the ANZ bank.
In response to the ANZ's comments on property investors participation in the property market, the Wellington property investors association, who have represented a large number of Wellington's investors for over 40 years, are looking to find a more supportive banking partner.
"The ANZ have been a partner and sponsor of property investors both locally and nationally for well over a decade, but in recent years they have become less and less supportive" said Richard Bacon, president of wnpia.
"These latest comments are obviously ill thought out, Auckland centric and popularist." He continued.
Out members deserve the support of a banking partner who appreciates the valuable role responsible property investment plays in a healthy economy, providing and maintaining quality rental homes.
"Trading and speculating is not investing and to blame the current heat of the Auckland property market on a national group of bona fide businesses is frankly rude."
