POSTPONED: The Funding Network Christchurch event

POSTPONED: The Funding Network Christchurch event

It is with regret that The Funding Network NZ is postponing the event planned in Christchurch on Tuesday 13 Sept. Whilst we have created good interest in The Funding Network, we have not been able to reach our event registration target.

Our generous sponsors and local advocates have built a solid foundation of support. And the three charities involved have also put in a lot of work preparing for their pitches. We don’t want to see any of this effort and goodwill put to waste, and are therefore looking at ways to reschedule The Funding Network event in the near future.

To make the event a success we need around 100 generous people in the audience who are likely to be inspired by stories told by the local charities and motivated by the concept of collective giving.

To enable us to reschedule the event we need at least one other organisation to partner alongside our existing sponsors. In particular, a partner who could provide access to a network of people to add to the invite list to make the event a real success.

Any local organisations or companies who are strong supporters of their local community and likely to be interested in helping The Funding Network to happen in Christchurch, can reach us atinfo@thefundingnetwork.org.nz

The Funding Network is itself a charitable organisation and relies on the generous support of its partners to create the right environment for local charities to be helped.

We hope to make a decision about the rescheduling in the next two weeks and will provide a further update soon.

We thank our sponsors, stakeholders and registered guests so much for their support so far, and we hope they can join us at the future date in Christchurch.
