NZ’s First Smart Bed on Display at Nelson Home & Garden Show

NZ’s First Smart Bed on Display at Nelson Home & Garden Show

Part of the country’s first and only smart bed range will be on display at the upcoming Nelson Home & Garden Show, which opens on Friday 30 September for three days, at the Saxton Stadium in Stoke. It is the first time the innovative beds will have been displayed outside of Harvey Norman stores, where they have only recently been released.

The beds, which are part of a revolutionary new range called ‘Sleepsense’, were delivered in early August to Harvey Norman Stores throughout New Zealand. They feature built-in sleep tracking technology which monitors and records sleeping patterns, delivering sleep data directly to a downloadable Sleepsense app on the owner’s smartphone. This information can then be used to personalise the sleeping experience by altering the mattress firmness and positioning of the bed.

Where a bed is shared, the mattress can be tailored to suit each of the couple’s preferences from a choice of hundreds of comfort combinations. The ability to alter the mattress as required ensures that it will support changing lifestyle needs over many years. The top end of the range offers built-in massage capabilities in the bed base.

Show director, Daniel Joll, said “We pride ourselves on attracting the latest home improvement products and innovations to the show. We’re delighted to help promote this clever new concept and look forward to bringing visitors a show packed with the latest trends, variety and bargains.“
