Internet Access Price Trend Compared by TrueNet

Internet Prices - a Competitive Market
TrueNet compares prices for internet access on technologies offered in the last 12 months. We have discovered that there are three price markets across each major internet technology; a higher price where Trustpower sits at present; a midpoint price which includes all the major ISPs; and a low price market occupied by the sub-brands of major ISPs. Prices are highly volatile in the growing 100Mb/s Fibre market, but other markets have stable prices.
Note the comparison is with Naked, Unlimited and non-discounted services.
Over 30% of connections are now faster than ADSL, NZ is moving into the fast lane for internet access and price competition is assisting.
