Chimney Company makes a clean sweep to the top

Complete Chimney Care has been awarded Business of the Year by NoCowboys - New Zealand’s largest ratings website in the trades and services industry.

Judged on quality, reliability, value, and communication across all trade and service industries, the small Auckland-based company beat 17,000 other rated businesses in New Zealand to win the website’s Business of the Year award for 2015/2016, by providing outstanding customer service.

Complete Chimney Care was established by Ciaran Fitzpatrick and his partner Kimberly Muncaster in 2012 and it’s now the third time this enterprising duo have won this award, showing their ongoing commitment to customer service.

“Cleaning and repairing chimneys is dirty work but I love my job and I look forward to the variety and challenge that each day brings,” says Ciaran, who has been in the chimney maintenance industry for 20 years.

“As well as enjoying the physical and social aspect of my work, I get a real sense of satisfaction knowing that I’m helping people stay safe and warm in their homes. It’s an added bonus to know our customers are confident and happy with the work we do.”

NoCowboys is a reputation based marketing website, providing kiwis with an easy way to find quality tradespeople on the basis of customer feedback.

Over 80,000 people a month use the website to look for tradespeople from over 20,000 New Zealand businesses on the website.

NoCowboys’ General Manager Bruce Lindsay says “it’s an outstanding effort from a business that has only been trading four years.”

“They’ve demonstrated the ability to consistently deliver great customer service and it’s a pleasure to market their reputation,” he says.

“They absolutely deserve this reward.”

Despite its success, Complete Chimney Care has no plans to expand, with Marketing Director Kimberly Muncaster saying at this stage their business and brand is just where they want it to be.

We’re happy to bring professionalism to an industry that often lets their customers down. Whilst we’ll always try and accommodate new customers, our focus is on delivering a consistently good service to the ones that we have” says Kimberly.

Complete Chimney Care is a full service chimney company. As well as cleaning chimneys, it also provide services for knocking and building chimneys and installing wood-burning stoves.
