Request: Department of Finance to confirm sufficient funds

7 February 2015
His Excellency
Brig. Gen (RETD Francis W Agwi.
High Commissioner
Papua New Guinea High Commission to New Zealand

Dear Sir,

Request: Department of Finance to confirm sufficient funds to satisfy judgment

On behalf of Evaluation Consult Board of Directors, we require confirmation in writing from the Department of Finance by 10th February 2017 that there are sufficient funds to satisfy the cheque issued by Department of Finance for K934,314.33.

This cheque was issued on 10 December 2016 and we are still waiting for confirmation in writing that there are sufficient funds so we deposit the cheque in the legal trust account. This legal debt is still outstanding from 2014 and we require prompt action.

Please send confirmation of sufficient funds to Solicitor General’s office, and Bill Frizzell wswaigani@datec.net.pg our PNG based lawyer.

We attach the judgment, signed certificate and email showing cheque is issued and available for deposit on confirmation. This has been extremely difficult on the company and staff.

We request that PNG Government honours its debt with sufficient funds by 10th February 2017.

Yours sincerely,

Kate Averill

Executive Director, Evaluation Consult
