Europcar named Australasia's Leading Car Rental Company for the eighth year straight

• Europcar awarded Australasia's Leading Car Rental Company

• World Travel Awards is the industry’s most prestigious

• Award recognises Europcar’s continued leadership within its category

This week Europcar was awarded, for their consecutive eighth year, Australasia's Leading Car Rental Company at the 24th World Travel Awards.

This award acknowledges Europcar’s continued delivery of premium services, top packages and the industries youngest fleet. It also recognises customer satisfaction, exceptional customer support and a brilliant track record.

The World Travel Awards is regarded as the most prestigious, comprehensive and soughtafter awards programme in the global travel and tourism industry. To be voted a World Travel Award winner is an accolade which many strive for but few achieve.

Stephen Jones, General Manager Europcar New Zealand says the award affirms they’re on the right path with their overall consumer-led strategy.

“Along with our colleagues in Australia we are very proud to win this award again. We are committed to offering our customers the best products and services as we strive to become a global mobility solutions leader,” he says.

The annual programme rewards and celebrates excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry. Today, the World Travel Award brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence.

This award firmly positons Europcar as industry leaders. This lead is further exemplified through their innovative approach to support the changing needs of consumers. Just last month Europcar New Zealand launched the Electric Day Pass, EDP which facilitates the use of free electric eGolfs for corporates travelling across New Zealand’s main airports.
