TalentHub relaunches in 2018 with hassle-free hiring

03.05.2018 Auckland

Looking for something new? Tired of the same over priced offering?

TalentHub relaunches in 2018 with hassle-free hiring at no cost!

TalentHub, is a kiwi owned and operated employment website that provides a recruitment solution for making your hiring process fast and simple catering for small businesses and recruiters.

Being in the recruitment industry for years, the founders of TalentHub did their best to make the cloud based software solution as simple and as intuitive as possible. According to Nikita Leiman, ASB Bank's Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant and TalentHub Co-Founder, "the idea for the project came from realising that to engage the candidate market, NZers don't really have much choice in terms of advertising their job listings, there are a couple of go to job boards but they lack flexibility and are excessively expensive with limited functionality, we had to do something fresh and innovative to help NZ small to medium sized businesses hire better - so, we created TalentHub where a business takes 2 minutes to register, there's nothing to download and they get an easy to adopt online solution that manages their end to end hiring process".

What’s unique about TalentHub, is that it provides customisable and flexible tools to manage recruitment tasks. It allows businesses to advertise an unlimited amount of positions, easily process job applications, customise prescreening questions for applicants, conduct reference checks and do so much more. Unlike other employment websites, TalentHub is completely free of charge for everyone and has no restrictions in its functionality.

Whilst developing the platform, the founders took into account the interests of both job seekers and hiring managers, continiously seeking feedback on the best way to build useful functionality. Candidate profiles on TalentHub are anonymous in order to avoid any risk of job seekers being recognised by their current employer. The companies can create their own application forms for each position and also set up stop rules to prevent unsuitable candidates from submitting their applications, ensuring those applying are likely more suitable, saving time in the hiring process. Quality not quantity is always key.

The service is ideal for small to medium sized NZ based business owners who find the usual employment websites a high cost to factor in to their hiring, allowing flexibility in budgets and reduced outgoings. Nikita explains "on average, it costs $220 to put up a job ad for 30 days which we felt was completely unreasonable, the 3 main companies that offer these services at the moment are stock exchange listed so need to have high margins to satisfy shareholder expectations - we're 2 people in a garage using good old kiwi ingenuity to build awesome new and scalable tech and that's the difference in our approach".

Professional recruiters also consider the applicant management system provided by TalentHub flexible and easy to use. Rivers Rainey, ex Global Talent Manager at Vend and Founder of Chati.ai says "Out of all the recruitment software solutions I've worked with, I found TalentHub the most intuitive and easiest to get going right away. I particularly enjoy the drag-and-drop card system of moving candidate's through the process, it takes advantage of modern web technology to stand out against more dated systems".

Besides giving access to universally applicable recruitment tools, TalentHub also helps companies to promote their job listings and find the best candidates based on their key requirements. Alex Varganov, the CTO and Co-Founder of TalentHub explains that "our mission has always been to help simplify and ultimately improve the recruitment process for SMEs across NZ and over the last 2 years, we've worked very hard to fulfil this mission by building a multi-featured, robust online service that is offered to the market completely free of charge as we help support the 97% of NZ enterprises that have 20 or fewer staff members to hire the best possible talent which will grow their business and the NZ economy as a whole".
