All signs point to bumper season ahead for The Remarkables
Learn to ski and snowboard packages have continued to be top sellers at The Remarkables, indicating many more first timers are hitting the slopes in 2018.
With a further 20 centimetres over the weekend, adding to the packed powder base, beginner and intermediate riders are cashing in on some of the best June conditions to get ahead early in the season.
The Remarkables Ski Area Manager Ross Lawrence said numbers at The Remarkables are strong due to the convenience of the learners area.
“Our four-day ‘Intro to snow’ packages are very strong sellers and I think this is influenced by the location of the learners area to the base lodge. The additional 8,000m2 of learner’s terrain has improved the experience for novice riders massively.”
“At the next level, the beginners and intermediate lines in our Remarks Parks terrain park have an excellent progression of features.”
“More snow is only going to add to everything, and provide more off piste terrain, which The Remarkables is famous for.”
