Bell Gully advises on the acquisition of New Zealand fintech TALKINGTECH
Bell Gully has advised data registry and analytics business illion (formerly trading as Dun & Bradstreet) on its acquisition of fintech business TALKINGTECH.
TALKINGTECH is a cloud-based digital communications and payments solutions provider. It delivers an automated, self-service digital communications and payments solutions platform to international customers in the finance, government, telco and utilities sectors.
Bell Gully's role in this transaction was led by partners Laura Littlewood and Haydn Wong.
"This acquisition is an example of the increased activity we are seeing in the dynamic fintech sector with clients acquiring innovative technology and solutions to maximise their digital and data strategies. It is also another great success story for world-leading technology developed in New Zealand," Littlewood said.
Simon Bligh, illion CEO, commented that illion was excited to announce the acquisition of TALKINGTECH. "This is another fantastic addition to illion's fintech eco-system," he said.
The purchase price is undisclosed.
