This release refers to trade in goods only.

In July 2023, compared with July 2022:

• goods exports fell $890 million (14 percent), to $5.5 billion
• goods imports fell $1.2 billion (16 percent), to $6.6 billion
• the monthly trade balance was a deficit of $1.1 billion.
