Wellington Airport Announces New Director
Wellington Airport’s Board of Directors will include Bob Johnston with effect from today 4 June 2025 following his appointment by Infratil, the airport’s majority shareholder.
He will replace outgoing Director Elizabeth Albergoni who has served on the Board since 2023.
Mr Johnston is a Board Member of Perth Airport and Stockland and has more than 30 years of international expertise in the property sector including investment, development, project management and construction.
He was most recently the Chief Executive Officer at the listed property group GPT and has previously held roles as the Managing Director of Frasers Property Australia (formerly the listed property group Australand) and a number of senior management positions with Lendlease both in Australia and overseas.
Wellington Airport thanks Elizabeth Albergoni for her excellent contribution and is looking forward to working with Mr Johnston.
Infratil appoints four directors to the Airport Board and Wellington City Council two, including Mayor Tory Whanau.
