LIC FarmWise Service To Continue Under Independent Leadership
LIC (Livestock Improvement Corporation) today announces changes to its FarmWise consultancy service.
From 1 September FarmWise will no longer sit under the LIC brand, instead the consultancy will shift to operate as an independent service.
Mark Julian, GM Operations and Service, says the move reflects LIC’s commitment to focus on area’s where the co-operative can provide the most value for its farmer owners.
“FarmWise has been an integral part of LIC for more than 30 years, supporting thousands of farming operations across the country. It’s been a privilege to walk alongside our farmers, through both good seasons and challenging ones. We are proud of the work with have done with FarmWise and look forward to it continuing as an independent service.”
LIC will work alongside the FarmWise team to ensure a smooth transition. All current customers will continue to be given the same high level of expert advice and support from their FarmWise consultants.
